Today I have a scrapbook layout for our cottage book.
The word July is a stamp from Stampin Up. The Leaf, names, and year stamps are by Close to my Heart. The paw stamp is by PSX Stamps.
The stump die-cut was cut out with my Cricut (Bits and Pieces). I inked it with distress ink.
The background patterned paper is by Webster’s Paper.

I made a Christmas card. The tree stamp is an oldie by Stampin' Up and colored in with Copic markers. The star on top is an eyelet. The background patterned paper is an oldie by Provo Craft. The green layer behind the tree is cardstock from my stash and then the next layer is a sticker that I've been trying to use up.
The sentiment is metal and engraved with happy holidays. It is from Making Memories. The tag that it is under is by My Mind's Eye. The silver paper circle punch is by Creative Memories. The brad inside the circle is from my stash.
Thanks for looking.
This card also uses the same metal sentiment

The patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye. The stickers are unknown. The chipboard is by Prima (I'm almost finished with this package of chipboard. Sounds silly but it is an accomplishment. The pen is a Dreamweaver stencil that I inked the design with distress pads and then added translucent embossing paste over that. The arrows were cut out of my Cricut. I hate writing on layouts but there's no room for a typed-up explanation. As well as, Idk what the occasion was for these pictures but they were "professional" type photos. Here are my thoughts, maybe there was a teacher that was into photography and took these pictures. But, again IDK, and Mimi is so gone that she can't tell us.

Here is a plain card fitting a 12x12 border all the way around the edges of the card front. The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn. The flower stickers are from my stash. The label is by Martha Stewart.
Here is a similar card
Scroll down. I probably made the 2 cards at the same time.

I find it funny that recently I used ribbon on a card and now ribbon has been on a bunch of my cards.
The centerpiece of the card is an ATC that I give credit to in the picture below.
I stamped the background with Close to My Heart stamps. The ribbon is by Offray and the dots are by Gina Marie.
Thanks for looking.

The sympathy stamp on the first card is by Fiskars and it is stamped onto a Spellbinders die cut. The sentiment stamp for the card in the center is by Hero Arts. The sentiment on the left is by Stampendous.
So I go and look up her class price thinking it might be worth it. The class was $65. I might have paid that price but and there's always a but, that $65 was for one section of the class on taking pictures of cards.
After that, I had to give myself a break from watching YouTube videos on taking pictures of my cards. The disappointment of getting nothing out of time spent and wasted was bumming me out.
Here's my example of how I can't get the true color.

The patterned paper is by K&i Memories. Name and coffee cup stamps are by Lawn Fawn. Age and year stamps by Close to My Heart. The tape dispenser stamp is by Newton's Nook. Both the tape dispenser and coffee cup were colored in with the Peerless watercolors. The telephone is a Cricut draw and cut.
Thanks for looking.

Then recently I pulled it out from a bin and thought it matched the chipboard circle in the center. I used chalk over the raised areas of the entire wreath. (or maybe distress ink-not sure).
The ribbon is from my stash. I tied the bow with the ribbon wrapped around the front panel. Then once the bow is to my liking I use a Zot or two to secure it to the front of the card. I then go to the back of the panel and cut the ribbon so I can pull it tight resulting in no sagging in the front. With the two ends of ribbon, I use Gorilla packing tape to secure them to the backside of the panel. I hope that made sense. The sentiment is by StampingScrapping (no longer in business)
