4 Snow Globe Shaker Christmas Cards

The snow globe die cuts were cards that I cut apart. They came to me in the stash of the older woman that I was lucky enough to receive her Christmas card making supplies after she had to go to a nursing home.

The background of this card was made with distress ink and water and maybe some kind of spray/spritz. I dry embossed the red part with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and in an effort to make it look brown I continued to add distress oxide to it. Meh. The sentiment stamp is by Inkadinkado.

For this card, my background paper is by Carte Bella.  The sentiment is by Inkadinkado. The scene is made up of stamps from Stampendous.

For this card, my background paper is by.  The sentiment is by Inkadinkado. I love that name. The scene inside is made up of stamps by Stampendous.

The background of this card was made with a stencil by The Crafter’s Workshop, distress ink, and Glimmer Mist spray by Tattered Angels. The sentiment is by Hero Arts. The scene is made of stamps by Lawn Fawn that were colored in with Copic markers. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Manly Monday Ride your Pony cards

I made this card using the inside of a return envelope. The pattern reminds me of a Topographic map
Anyway, I put distress ink everywhere I thought would be water, land or vegetation.
The horse stamps are by Inkadinkado. The washi tape that’s creating an arrow is by We R Memory Keepers.

This single horse is from the same stamp set. The frame die cut curtesy of my Cricut. The reflective paper is unknown. I used blue Ranger Distress Crayon on the top and bottom of the card

Same card as before but I screwed up and the Fleur-de-lis downward on tan so I fixed it only to see that the blue ones are wrong in the finished card. Ugh!

Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday Hold Your Horses card

The horse stamp is and I've stamped it with brown Stampin Up ink. I die cut the image and it's next larger die by Spellbinders. I inked the white cardstock with distressa ink, blue on top and brown on the bottom with Ranger's distress ink. The patterned paper of the die cut behind the image is by Papertrey Ink. This card came together when I found the horse image (Inkadinkado) in a drawer. It’s a drawer of images that could be referred to as any of the following: misfits, projects to be finished, or maybe I was stamping one so why not stamp a bunch of them. Whatever the reason that I had extra stamped horses that is my card for today. For other examples using horse stamps check out  my links.

Floral Friday Bright Pink Card

This card is not my favorite but they don’t all have to be my favorite. The cardstock used is by Recollections. The stamp is by Inkadinkado and I colored it in with Copic markers before I used a Sizzix die to cut it out. I added some rhinestones and enamel dots from my collection. I put some washi tape on the side to make the card look less, and I mean less crooked. It doesn’t make it straight. It makes it less crooked. This card is an anniversary card. Thanks for looking.

Here are some other cards using the Same Stamp

Cinderella’s Make a Wish Card

Every little girl wants to be a “princess”.
I would ask Kate Middleton what it’s like to be one.
I don’t think it’s what little girls think it is.
But I could be wrong.

Anyway,

The Cinderella stamp is by Inkadinkado
I colored her in with Copic markers

After I cut the image down to a square, I used a corner rounder by Creative Memories to round the corners.

The sentiment is an epoxy sticker from my baby boy folder.

The label die-cut and matching stamp is by Clearly Besotted

The embossing folder is by Sizzix

The yellow vellum is from my stash.

Manly Monday Cheers! Have a drink card

I could use this for a New Years' card if I sent New Years' cards. lol, I need it for my guy birthday card supply.

I used a stamp by Paper Smooches. I masked off the glasses with masking paper by Inkadinkado in order to have them overlap.

I colored them in with colored pencils and put some Glossy Accents on the ice cubes.

I made the background with the same stamps in the set.
I stamped off first so the images would be lighter

The sentiment was cut with my Cricut

I'm mad at myself for not having posted this last week.
I don't love this card but it has taught me what not to do next time. ;)

1978 Snow, Family and Friends scrapbook layouts

This layout is different for me because I used a lot of the same product line/collection called Everafter by Cosmo Cricket.
Normally, I go thru my stash, make a huge mess, and match things up as I go. That works for me because I like to rediscover products.

The base patterned paper on both layouts is by Crate Paper
First square:
I used 2 journal cards from the set, a date alphabet stamp by Stampin Up, and eyelets on each end.

The second square
I used alphabet stamps by- Lawn Fawn called Harold
The black alphabet stickers on this layout are all by Tim Holtz

Third square card
It uses a journal card from the set
The letter stamps are from Oriental Trading Co
The fun kitchen die- cuts are by Cricut
Border stamp on top and bottom are by Inkadinkado

Next layout:
I was able to use a large amount of the borders from the set to frame the patterned paper (by Craft Paper)
I used a border in the center to separate the top and bottom
The top half is the actual moving into their new house and the bottom photos show the surrounding areas of the new house plus 40 acres.

I used two journal cards for the set.
The one on the top and center  and the other is bottom right.

I used the Lawn Fawn alphabet- Harold on: Moving Day, the address in the center and Steve's name at the bottom
I used the Lawn Fawn, "Say Cheese, Too" for the word August and 1972 in the bottom right card.
Lawn Fawn's Riley alphabet stamps in the bottom right corner, "Honda 600"

Same flower Stamp is colored 3 ways

I have 3 cards using the same flower stamp in different colors. I didn't have all three cards made at the same time to post with the one in April.

I used this flower stamp by Inkadinkado and colored it in with Copic markers
The sentiment is by SRM Stickers
The border punch by Fiskars
The patterned paper is by Memory Box
The white rectangle die cut is from eBay and it has a light purple distress ink on it.

This is the third one using this stamp.
Die-cuts by Spellbinders.
Embossing folder by Sizzix
A few brads from my stash

Quite a different look with the same stamp when looked at side by side.

This last one is a crappy photo but still wanted to see the two cards side by side.

I’m entering this flower card into:

YooHoo-We're thinking of you Owl cards

I had all of these owl images just hanging around my craft room. Time to pull them out and use them for a good cause, sending them to senior citizens.
I used stamps by Lawn Fawn
Masking paper Inkadinkado to cover the owl and create a blue sky with distress ink.
The sentiment is by Cricut
There are some die- cuts by Spellbinders
The grass patterned paper is old from my stash.
I made the backgrounds using a stencil from The Crafters Workshop and Glimmer mist Sprays from Tattered Angels.
I was looking to see which one still worked. When you don't use them very often they get clogged up.

I used flock on this owl.

The die-cut for this card below is made with wallpaper samples.

Wishing You a Happy Hello and Only Good Vibes Cards

I used stamps by Mama Elephant for the sentiments.
I paired the inside sentiment of "A happy hello" with an ampere sign from Close to my Heart followed by "only good vibes"
I think the flower stamp is probably by Inkadinkado
I colored them with Copic markers.
The die- cuts are by one of these companies,
Sizzix
Papertrey Ink
or Spellbinders

I end up with leftovers on my desk and this was one.
The borders are by Spellbinders and Martha Stewart.
The flowers are from my stash and the pearls are by Want2Scrap

Deep Red Stamps Scary Tree Stamp Cards

I used this scary tree stamp by Deep Red Stamps for 2 different cards

Deep Red Stamps Scary Tree Stamp

I created the background blending distress inks and on a piece of cardstock with an Inkadinkado masking paper as the moon.
I spritzed with water.
I stamped the tree with black ink and colored it in with distress ink and a Fantstick.

**Scroll down because this card gets better.

My second card
I heat embossed the tree with gold embossing powder and colored it in with Copic markers before fussy cutting it out. The background die-cut is by Sizzix. The polka dot paper is the negative of the die-cut.

BUT I thought they were very blah
So then I added to them:
 Sequin stars are unknown
The sticker letters that are a tree shape are by Prove Craft. They are very old.
The eyes in the OO's are from the dollar store

This one has the same stars and eyes on one of the headstones.
The pumpkin is by Jolee's.
The circle number stickers on the pumpkin are unknown.

Here are few other cards using the scary tree stamp

Positive Thinking Day Lantern Cards

I really like how these cards turned out and I think the first one goes well with
Positive Thinking Day
I cut out two different sized circles with the Creative Memories cutting system out of Inkadinkado masking paper.
The die cut is by Spellbinders. It has been in my stash forever. It was one of those times that I cut out other people's dies and with no idea what I'd use it for or with
The stars aligned and the stamp set and die-cuts came together :)
Ink is Distress ink-Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Faded Jeans, and yellow is Squeezed Lemonade.
Black ink is Hero Arts. I love how dark and sharp it is.
I set a Making Memories eyelet for the hole on top and used Karen Foster floss as the hanging component.

Die Cuts with a View patterned paper. Sizzix corner die-cuts
Stampibilities sentiment stamp
Yellow distress ink. Hero Arts black ink

The stamp set is unknown but looks like this.
