Flowery and Beautiful A

My friend and I found this wood A at a garage sale. I painted it first with pink Plaid paint and then I just layered the flowers, chipboard odds and ends, buttons, rhinestones, glitter dots and everything in between. Now she wants me to do the rest of the letters in her daughter's name; Adelynn. What did I start? If you missed it, here is a link to the purple crown I did as a test for this A.

Soft little Christmas card

I used an American Greetings card for the background and sentiment. Then with a fuzzy thin yarn, I wrapped it around the top of the sentiment.

Any Occasion card

I'm in need of many thank you cards these days with the death in our family and the many nice things people did before and after his passing.

For this card, I used an old embellishment to create the center point. The shape is cut by Cricut, Art Philosophy cartridge, with white and a rough purple paper by DCWV. Center flower is felt by Little yellow Bicycle. Flowers on top are old punches by Marvy. Flourish stamp and matching Die by Sizzix. Blue ink by Colorbox. Purple cardstock by Recollections embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. Stamps on the ends by TPC Studio with Hero Arts ink.

Christmas 1974 Layout

I did this layout for the pocket page books I'm doing for my in-laws. The pages didn't match up for these to be in pockets so I made a single page regular layout.

I always have a bunch of scraps that I never know what to do with until I saw a Jennifer McGuire video using them. Some of them have been stamped on with a variety of my Christmas stamp collection.

Thanks so much for looking and also for being patient with me as I'm experiencing many changes in my life and the lives of my small family. It's hard when my mom doesn't know I'm her daughter or what my name is. Her dementia seems to be getting worse and worse since the loss of her significant other.

For You Card

I use this Lawn Fawn Die a lot and I think it's because it's a universal sentiment that could be a thank you, birthday or whatever. This is another recycled card from American Greetings. Nothing fancy.

Who's turning 90?

I borrowed some elements from this American Greetings card to make it smaller to fit one of my card pre-made Recollections cards.

Manly Monday Double Tree Connection

I had a death in the family that has impacted my family in more ways than the death itself.
Please forgive my absence. Here are two masculine cards I made and wanted to share.
