The embossing folder by Cuttlebug. I inked that folder with blue distress oxide. The blue background on the inside was a mix of distress oxide, water, and Glimmer Mist spray. The sentiment stamp is by Inky Antics. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

This is my 4500 post!

Rainbow Birthday Cake wobbler

I made this card with leftovers from a distress ink rainbow background. The original background was too big for my project so I trimmed it down and ended up with these 4 little pieces. I love the way I was able to make them into a square

The pink background is dry embossed Swiss dot folder by Cuttlebug. The blue background is a piece of patterned paper that I don’t like. So I covered the edges of the patterned paper with blue paint. The cake die is old and has no company listed on it. It is on a Wobbler. The Best Wishes sentiment is a die. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Golden Retriever card

This dog card is one of many different dogs. This golden is one of many that I put together while upstairs with my new dog that had an infection on her incision. It was disappointing that her kennel didn’t keep her cone on her. But it is what it is.
The patterned paper is by Provo Craft and the embossed paper by Cloud 9. The enamel dots are by Hero Arts. The border stickers are by Mrs.Grossmsn’s.

Large Christmas tree with strips of paper card

I die cut a bunch of Christmas trees and then had the seniors at church decorate them from behind
I did things a little bit different on this card then many of the others. I added the green background frame to set it apart from the blue patterned paper. I adhered the paper strips to the back and then ran that whole thing into an embossing folder with ornaments on it. After embossing, I inked the inside areas of the tree with distress oxides. The star is an iron on patch that can use an iron on to adhered it to anything.

Manly Monday Tree silhouette die cut

The tree background die is by Dreamweaver Stencils. The yellow background was made using distress oxide. The bottom edge is made up of border punches just 2 layers to make it look fuller. After I added the tree die to the background I dry embossed it with an embossing folder by The Paper studio at Hobby Lobby. I added distress oxide over the whole thing before added a upcycled thank you tag.
I’m entering this card into the thank you challenge at Simon Says Stamp. And Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge Thank you 😊

This card was made with a piece of basic gray patterned paper and a piece of copper metallic paper that has texture. The sentiment is by Bo Bunny, and the brad is by Creative Imagination.

The background paper is by Accord Publishing. This time I colored the die cut with a Copic Markers. I cut the edge thin so that it would sit inside the frame of the patterned paper.

The background inside the frame was made with distress ink. I tried to make it look like a the shadows of the tree trunks. I ripped a piece of paper on the bottom edge of the tree and made it look like dirt. Hopefully it did.

Thanks for looking and reading my long post.

Manly Monday Anchor Card

The patterned paper is by Studio G. The embossed paper is by Colorbok. The sentiment is a stamp by Stampendous that I cut out with a Spellbinders die.  While the paper was still in the die I embossed it using a rubber mat and then inked it with distress ink.

This card was supposed to go for Kendra‘s card challenge #10 but I didn’t like it. So it sat in the “To Be Finished” box waiting for an occasion or to come up with a brilliant way to finish it.

The sketch that inspired my card is in the upper right corner. Keep in mind, sketches are there to spark your creativity, and this was mine loosely based on the sketch.

Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Manly Monday Cityscape Card

The patterned paper is by Cricut. The blue brick is vellum that I dry embossed with a Darice embossing folder. The city line stamp and cloud stamps are by Stampendous. I did stamp out the clouds in blue ink and then used white pigment ink to fluff them up. The grass was created with green ink and a makeup sponge. I used a marker to add a shadow to the base of the buildings. The sentiment stamp is from…idk. Anyway, thanks for looking.

A Craft Roulette original, the “Zoyfold” card

As the title says, Craft Roulette’s Mary Gunn and Irene Smith came up with this name to describe a card design that is part Z-Fold card and part Joy fold card.

In the image above, the embossing folder is by Darice and I inked it with distress ink. The vellum is from the Paper Studio and I cut it into a circle using my Creative Memories cutting system. The gems are by Couture Creations.

The brick embossing folder by Darice. I inked it with all different inks before spraying it with water. This is the inside flap other side of the green cardstock.

The vintage looking door stamp is from Deep Red Stamps. I used watercolors to color it then die cut it out with a Sizzix oval scalloped die. The oval mat behind the image is also by Sizzix.

This card was made for Craft Roulette episode #249. The parameters were: project-“Zoyfold” card. Colors-elegant. Elements-Front Door. Random-3 circles.

Just a Note glow in the dark card

Today’s card is SOooo fun. I started by applying glow paste by Tim Holtz onto a stencil by Couture Creations. The brads are by Making Memories. The label is by Recollections. The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug.
Check out the paper that the sentiment was cut out of. It looks a little different. I went to the recycle bin and pulled out a piece of white cardstock. It’d been die cut, but didn’t cut all the way through. I die cut the sentiment out of a piece of paper. Hence, why there are cut lines on the sentiment die cut.
Lastly, I tried to ink the edges of the paper, but the paste is gritty and wouldn’t take ink. I must be doing something wrong.anyway. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Peace, Love and Joy Big card

This card is from Craft Roulette #244.

 The parameters were:

Project-Joy fold

Color-Bold/cold

Element-family

Random-ribbon

The gold paper, letter dies and the white die cut layered at the bottom of the cluster are from Sizzix. The embossing folder is by Gina Marie. The die cut that the ampersand sign is on is by Creative Expression. There’s Rick Rack on the left side of the card on top of a snowflake background stamp that I heat embossed in green embossing powder.  The joy tags on the right are sewn up there with not twine, but like hemp ribbon.
It’s a very heavy card. I would probably have to add extra postage. Thanks for looking.

4 Snow Globe Shaker Christmas Cards

The snow globe die cuts were cards that I cut apart. They came to me in the stash of the older woman that I was lucky enough to receive her Christmas card making supplies after she had to go to a nursing home.

The background of this card was made with distress ink and water and maybe some kind of spray/spritz. I dry embossed the red part with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and in an effort to make it look brown I continued to add distress oxide to it. Meh. The sentiment stamp is by Inkadinkado.

For this card, my background paper is by Carte Bella.  The sentiment is by Inkadinkado. The scene is made up of stamps from Stampendous.

For this card, my background paper is by.  The sentiment is by Inkadinkado. I love that name. The scene inside is made up of stamps by Stampendous.

The background of this card was made with a stencil by The Crafter’s Workshop, distress ink, and Glimmer Mist spray by Tattered Angels. The sentiment is by Hero Arts. The scene is made of stamps by Lawn Fawn that were colored in with Copic markers. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Floral Friday Sunflower stamp card

The sunflower stamp is by Stampendous and I've colored it in with Copic markers. I die cut it out with one of my new dies and can't remember which one. I inked the die cut with distress Oxide.
The frame background paper is by Accord Publishing. The sunflower patterned paper is fabric. I adhered it to the framed paper and ran it through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder resembling a basket. I inked the fabric with the same Distress Oxide (the last gray ink color that was released). The black border is lace.

This is a larger card, 5x6.5 and it's a little roughed up, on purpose.

This is the first of three cards with this same sunflower image. See you next week. Thanks for looking.
PS. I made THIS card with the same fabric.

Manly Monday Debossed background card

The background is made with Tim Holtz kraft core cardstock combined with a dry embossing folder by Darice. Then I used some Copic markers of the same shade.
I had intended for the raised embossing to be on the kraft side of the cardstock but I wasn’t mindful of which way was up on the embossing folder .
I then decided to cut out a cover plate die cut by Simply Defined from Scrapbooking Made Simple out of Papertrey Ink polka dot patterned paper. After I adhered it to my embossed background I colored in the die cut leaves and it didn’t work. I tried different colors and
nothing seemed to look right.
So to take away from the leaves that I didn’t like, I used a Copic marker over the raised embossed areas. It’s okay.
Thanks for stopping by. HAGD!
