If you like Pina Colada.....

I'm posting for the design team at Sassy Studio Designs. This month on the Facebook Sassy group the freebie is called Pina Colada. I printed the image out onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers. I die cut the image with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink. I felt the bathing suit would be awesome with some Stickles by Ranger. Who doesn't love a sparkly bathing suit? The patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is cut out from my Cricut and the Life's a Beach cartridge. The patterned paper for the sentiment is unknown. The ribbon is by Webster's and the pearls by Forever in Time.

Celebrate With Style

A celebrate with style birthday card using Gina Marie Rose Garden Embossing folder on the coral cardstock. I took one of those finger sponges with some distress ink to the center of the roses and onto the leaves of the embossed area. Then I sprayed the cardstock with water and Perfect Pearls. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp with Colorbox ink on a Spellbinders die. The blue dots in the ends of the die cut are rhinestones from a dance teacher friend. She gives me her leftovers after the year and that costume are done performing. I used a strip of Bo Bunny patterned paper on the side and layered a piece of the fancy ribbon by Websters on top of it.

Thanks for looking. Have a great weekend.

Stamp N Plus challenge #3

This month at the Stamp N Plus challenge blog the theme is flowers.

**You must use stamps by Stamp N Plus.**

There are so many wonderful stamps to choose from. Be sure to head over to the store and get a couple so you can join our challenge and possibly win a gift certificate to the store.

For my card I used THIS (J787) flower stamp by masking the stem off when I stamped it onto my flower. I then used my fingertip to coat the flower with stardust powdered chalk. The sentiment stamp can be found HERE

Patterned paper is by Making Memories, Flower by Stamping Scrapping, center of flower by Webster's, die cuts by Spellbinders, scallop label by Martha Stewart and tag by Making Memories, border punch was borrowed from a friend but the cardstock used is by Recollections and the ink I used was by Close to my Heart and Ranger Industries.

Doily, Ribbon, and brad make a green Thank you Card.

This week I have to cancel Manly Monday. This week only. I have two big things to post today.

I won a Guest Design Team spot at Die cut Dreams from the Feline Playful blog hop in September.
This week's challenge is a Thank You card using circles. The sponsor is Sentiments 4 You, which has a fabulous selection of sentiments and much more. Here is my card:

I used ribbon by Webster's, patterned paper by Crate papers, stamps by Martha Stewart (doily) and Lawn Fawn (sentiment), cardstock by Recollections and Bazzill, embossing powder by Stampendous and ink by Ranger Industries, Stampin Up and Versa Mark.

A lil' bit more

I posted this card recently and then made some improvements to it and wanted to share the results. I didn't just add flowers. I stamps those flowers with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them and then using my finger put Perfect Pearls on top of that. I then used these centers from Websters that I just adore to finish the flower off. I think it really helped the card out. Thanks for stopping by today. May your day be better then mine:)
