Floral Friday Flower Butterfly

The background is made with a stencil by Hero Arts and paint. These butterfly is a Stamin Up stamp that I heat embossed it in pink. Then I used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.  I inked the inside before taking the die off the paper.

Heat Embossed Santa Card

The Santa stamp is by Inkadinkaso. Then I ink the background with distress ink. It was so boring so I cat it up after I added washi tape cut with decorative scissors. The sentiment is a rub on by Making Memories. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Cricut Just a Note card

I made this card with an SVG file given at the Card Makers Success summit. I used my Cricut to cit it out. I embossed the white panel with an embossing folder by Ultimate Crafts.  Then I inked the raised pattern with distress ink. I added a vellum hexagon behind the letter A to add a visual effect, but you can’t really see it in this picture.

Iris Fold Christmas Tree shaped card

I cut out a bunch of Christmas trees with my Cricut. I used scraps of thin patterned paper to create an iris fold inside the opening. I inked the edges with distress ink. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

I made this background with distress ink, and Copic markers for the grass at the bottom. For some reason the edge of this white cardstock had this jagged edge and so I went with it. The sentiment die cuts are by Stampendous. The sentiment is stamped with Versa Color ink. 

The background of the second card was created using a handmade stencil of a triangle and distress ink. The truck day cuts were made with a complex die from Sizzix. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.

I colored the leaves and tree branches in with Copic markers. 

This first card uses a cloud embossing folder by Stampin Up. I inked it with Distress Ink. I created the grass with my Copic markers. 

Darice tree embossing folder colored with Copic markers. I also used the markers to extend the grass from the Creative Memories grass patterned paper. The banner die is by Sizzix and the happy stamp is by Lawn Fawn.

Rainbow Birthday Cake wobbler

I made this card with leftovers from a distress ink rainbow background. The original background was too big for my project so I trimmed it down and ended up with these 4 little pieces. I love the way I was able to make them into a square  

The pink background is dry embossed Swiss dot folder by Cuttlebug. The blue background is a piece of patterned paper that I don’t like. So I covered the edges of the patterned paper with blue paint. The cake die is old and has no company listed on it. It is on a Wobbler. The Best Wishes sentiment is a die. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Roller Skates card

The background has some layers. It is the back side of a thin piece of patterned paper. Then I used a dollar store stencil on the background in light colors. Then I applied Broken China distress ink pad to paper. The blue glitter is Simon Hurley Astro paste with a Waffle Flower stencil. The rollerskate and sentiment are by Hero Arts. Stamped in black memento ink and colored in with Copic markers.

Manly Monday Frog on mixed media background

Background-wave stencil by Stampendous green Astro paste. The sky is blue distress ink sprayed with blue glimmer mist. Then a plastic doily and used as a stencil to put a pattern on that upper portion by spraying it with a distress spritz in green. It didn’t really show up. I used it on another project sprayed it with a blue and then turned the stencil onto the card. It’s hard to explain. 

Then took a stencil by Creative Expressions called outlined duo rectangles that has multiple levels of dotted lines in an outline around the edges with distress oxide. 

There’s a slit cut into the paper within the green border where frog die cut slides in. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Manly Monday Desert Card

This was my Craft Roulette 296 card last week. I love how it turned out. The background was in the bin that I like to call, the
"I don’t know what to do with this background" . 

It almost got cut up into sentiment. But I’m glad it didn’t.

The background stamp is by Hero Arts and is heat embossed in silver. It was inked with two different colors of distress ink, which you can see how the top is one color is different from the bottom.

The image was made on a blank business card. The stamps are by Stampendous. I stamped the image a while back to see how it looks.

Floral Friday single flower birthday card

 The white background has a small shaded area of red in the center. l sprayed that white background with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The green cardstock is by Sunborn. The red layer of cardstock I inked direct to paper with my dying Aged Mahogany distress ink pad. 

The frame is out of an old package that I will have to find.

The flower stamp is from Close to my Heart. I colored it in with Copic markers and then fussy cut it out. The sentiment is my new favorite by Memory box. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Extra Glue made into Unique background

I was gluing some die cuts on top of this front panel and after it dried I started thinking. How would this look as a background? I applied red and orange distress ink to the paper to find out. TADA!! I created a design. 

I cut out the letters using my Cricut and then added them to the background using a roll of blue painter’s tape.

Floral Friday Just for You card

The floral die cut is by Scrapbooking Made Simple. I cut it out of yellow cardstock. I made a background using red and olive distress ink on a white piece of cardstock. I was hoping that adding the ink would make the flower look better. Not so much. The sentiment is from my stash. I sprayed the entire card with water mixed in with perfect pearls. Thanks for looking. Manly Monday Chalk Markers Hello card

I stamped The sunrise and car with chalk markers. The car is a second generation stamp image. I added yellow, blue and green, distress ink to create the sunny scene. The car is from Tim Holtz and the sunrise and sentiment is unknown. 

I put that front panel onto a black card stock card base. 

This card was made for Craft Roulette #287. The parameters were: project – card with a hello. Colors – crisp. Element – Sunny. Random – pennant.

Parameters: 4 Bar card size which is 3.5 by 4 7/8. Colors: In a craft store. I used the color cube pictured below. The other side was a car. I used it as the model car section of a craft store.
