For the look of the pictures I cut out a white cardstock circle and cut off the top and bottom. I love the look. It was just what this layout needed. Thanks for looking. HAGD! 

Simon Says Stamp Monday rainbow challenge

Out in the Forest Frame

I made this frame for my niece's 1st birthday present. The colors and die cuts (that I cut with my Cricut) match her room decor. I really liked the way it turned out. I listed some of the supplies. A lot of the cardstock is by Recollections and the dark brown is by Stampin Up.

This wood grain patterned paper is by Bella Blvd. The acorn die cut is from the Autumn Celebrations cartridge.

The below patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye. The white die cut is by Spellbinders.

Owl Card Trio

Here are the three owl cards that I made using the same image and some of the same products. You can see how I made Hoot Hooray and You're a Hoot and the center card is at the bottom.

On the final card I went a little different by trying to pull out the black in her eyes and legs and the orange in her beak. The scalloped circle die cut is by Spellbinders, patterned paper by Recollections and the black is a pro-type I was privileged enough to play with. The black patterned paper is by Die Cuts With a View. The wood grain patterned paper is by Bella Blvd, ribbon by Michael's, flower die cuts by Studio G and sentiment stamp and die by Stampin Up. It's not my favorite but it is what it is and someone might like it.

You're a Hoot

So today's card is similar to my last post using this owl but I wanted to show you how I changed things up and yet how some things are similar. The owl is cut to a slim rectangle shape to fit inside the pink wood grain die cut by Sizzix and then into the scalloped circle die cut by Spellbinders. Then the sentiment is cut out using the Cricut cartridge Straight from the Nest and inside the "o's" I adhered a flower die cut from a set by Studio G. The sentiment cardstock, white cardstock and star patterned paper are all by Recollections and the wood grain patterned paper is by Bella Blvd.

Celebrate - Hoot Hooray

Today's card has absolutely no stamping in it. Craziness. I know. The owl image is from the web and I cut him to a small rectangle to fit inside this pink die cut {Sizzix} and then into the white circle die cut {Spellbinders}. The sentiment was cut out with the Cricut cartridge Straight from the Nest. The sentiment is actually two Hoots but I left one out due to available space. Then I cut the shadow of the sentiment in white. The cardstock for the sentiment has shimmer to it and is by Recollections, which is same as the white cardstock and the star patterned paper. The celebrate banner is a die cut by Studio G and the pink wood grain patterned paper is by Bella Blvd.

Stampendous on the Farm

Today's card uses a Stampendous farms stamp that I stamped in black Hero Arts ink onto Ranger distress watercolor paper. I colored the image in with Peerless watercolors and a water pen by Ranger. The die cut is by Spellbinders, patterned paper by The Paper Studio and Bella Blvd with ribbon by Offray and jute by Jillibean Soup.

Kenny K Make a Wish

I have a bright and happy card to share today with the digital image by Kenny K. They are having an anything goes challenge on the blog and I'd like to enter this young lady. Here is a link to the blog http://kennykskraftykrew.blogspot.co.uk/.

I printed the digi out on Cryogen cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers (see below). Then I die cut her out using a Spellbinders die cut. Because she is sitting I wanted to put something underneath her tush. I punched out a square using a Creative Memories punch of Coredinations paper. I carefully cut around her bottom, hand and leg to place the box in the appropriate spot. 

The patterned paper I used for the background paper is by Bella Blvd and the pink cardstock strip in the middle is by Creative Memories. I used Mrs Grossman's vellum border stickers to cover the seam of the two papers. Then I decorated the rest of the card with flowers by Creative Memories and Making Memories. The peace sign sticker is by Jolee's and the small epoxy flower stickers by Sticko which are both from the company EK Success. The rhinestones are by Imaginisce using the IRock tool to adhere them to the center of the flowers. The sentiment stamp is by TPC Studio and the ink by Stampin Up.

Butterfly special day with cool eyelet crisscross

I made today's Stamp N Plus blog card using this butterfly stamp and this sentiment from Stamp N Plus. I used powdered chalk combined with paint to create a medium to stamp my butterfly. This is a great way to use powdered chalks. My patterned papers are by DCWV and Bella Blvd, die cuts by Spellbinders, eyelets by Making Memories and twine by We R Memory Keepers.

Chalk-Ah-Lot Cafe Challenge #11

For challenge #11 at Chalk-Ah-Lot Cafe we would like you to make a Get well card project using
powdered chalk by Stamp N Plus. 

Only those projects using the Stamp N Plus powdered chalk will be eligible for the prize-2 powdered chalks.

My card this week features a Rosebud stamp L486 which I painted in with yellow powdered chalk and paint. The sentiment is also from Stamp N Plus. 

I made this card from scraps of paper I had in my stash. The only paper I know of for sure is die cut patterned paper behind the stamped flower is by Bella Blvd. The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug, stickers by Cloud 9, ink by Colorbox.

Busy as can be

I am still here and trying to find to create new stuff for the blog not to mention the 6 or maybe it's 8 birthdays from Feb 12 to the 24th. Craziness! I made this card as a way to get my creative juices flowing. It turned out pretty cute and it's a square so it could go for the challenge at Robyn's Fetish this week.
