WoW! Busy Me

It's been a crazy week. Hubby's birthday, computer issues and fighting with a doctor's office have really taken away from my time to blog. Right now I'm exhausted but wanted to let you know that Manly Monday will resume next Monday. I have some awesome cards to share with you.
Now onto making this short and sweet.

I made a few wedding cards this week. This one has a ridiculous amount of photos but I just love the bird cage. I don't love the vellum sentiment only because the adhesive shows through. Maybe if it were on white instead of the gold it would look better. I may alter this one before it goes on the shelves to sell. Background stamp by Hero Arts and sentiment by Lawn Fawn. They are both heat embossed with Versa Mark and Stamp N Plus gold embossing powder. The vellum is self adhesive by Paper Reflections and I used it for the sentiment and the die cut behind the birdcage. That die is by Life Style Crafts. Stickers by Forever in Time,  Jolee's and TPC Studio.

Thanks for looking.

myStamp Box Think Spring

Today's card features a couple of myStamp Box stamps.

I made my sentiment using the Mini Alpha-Small Box letters with the center flower stamp from the set Abundant Blossoms. The ink, aqua cardstock and embossing folder used on my card are all by Stampin Up.

The umbrella die is by Marianne Designs and I've embellished it with Want 2 Scrap pearls. The cute little owl is a sticker by Jolee's and he is positioned on a vellum scallop circle die with a smaller coral die underneath it.. The vellum is by The Paper Co, the coral cardstock is by Bazzill and the polka dot patterned paper is by Prima.

Thanks for stopping by and I invite you to stop by the myStamp Box blog for more inspiration using myStamp Box stamps and accessories.

Valentine's Day Love

More Valentine's love for you today. I made the background by heat embossing a background stamp by Hero Arts in red embossing powder by Ranger on white cardstock. Then I inked it with an ink blender and red distress ink and then sprayed the entire card front with water mixed with Perfect Pearls. The swirl/flourish is cut out using the Cricut and the flower is a sticker by Jolee's. I stamped the sentiment in red ink both products are by Stampin Up. Then I die cut the sentiment out using a Spellbinders die and matted it with pink cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I choose Holiday Cinderella Honey which I have colored her in with Copic markers. I fussy cut her out of the Cryogen cardstock and placed her on a Spellbinders die cut. The patterned paper and blue cardstock are by DCWV and the white cardstock used in the die cut flourish cut from my Cricut is by Recollections. I embellished the rest of my card with a present sticker by Creative Memories, glittery snowflake stickers by Jolee's/EK Success and a sentiment sticker by Cloud 9.

Deep Red Stamps go Under the Sea

I love to find different themes for my stamps. My last post I used this same Bubbles stamp but as wine bubbles and today's tag features the stamp as fish bubbles. The Bubbles stamp is by Deep Red Stamps and can be purchased at A Cherry on Top

I actually really like this tag because it was made with older paper that I have and don't know what to do with.

I stamped the bubbles using Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with Ranger embossing powder. I didn't rub the surface area with an embossing pad which resulted in some of the embossing powder all over. Live and learn I guess.

The bottom papers are by Creative Memories, Core'dinations and Die Cuts with a View. The fish stickers are fun little glittery pieces from Jolee's. The sentiment sticker is by Cloud 9.

Save Santa a trip

The Christmas season is well on its way and I have a beautiful Christmas card using a Stamp N Plus stamp. The tree stamp is one of the many iris folding stamps that Stamp N Plus carries. If you are interested in purchasing this tree stamp please call Luann at 715-271-1873.

I stamped the tree onto cream cardstock and proceeded to cut out the center. Then using a light patterned paper from my local scrapbook store I used the stamp guide to fold the paper and create the iris look. I matted the image on Making Memories patterned paper and placed two little Jolee's present stickers under the tree. The sentiment is a sticker by Momenta and I positioned it on a Spellbinders die that is popped up with foam adhesive. The patterned paper of the die is by Recollections.

Then once the card was all set up I sprayed it with Stardust powdered chalk mixed with water. You can see a little bit of the sparkle on the close up view.

Kenny K Make a Wish

I have a bright and happy card to share today with the digital image by Kenny K. They are having an anything goes challenge on the blog and I'd like to enter this young lady. Here is a link to the blog http://kennykskraftykrew.blogspot.co.uk/.

I printed the digi out on Cryogen cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers (see below). Then I die cut her out using a Spellbinders die cut. Because she is sitting I wanted to put something underneath her tush. I punched out a square using a Creative Memories punch of Coredinations paper. I carefully cut around her bottom, hand and leg to place the box in the appropriate spot.

The patterned paper I used for the background paper is by Bella Blvd and the pink cardstock strip in the middle is by Creative Memories. I used Mrs Grossman's vellum border stickers to cover the seam of the two papers. Then I decorated the rest of the card with flowers by Creative Memories and Making Memories. The peace sign sticker is by Jolee's and the small epoxy flower stickers by Sticko which are both from the company EK Success. The rhinestones are by Imaginisce using the IRock tool to adhere them to the center of the flowers. The sentiment stamp is by TPC Studio and the ink by Stampin Up.

Thanks for looking.

Halloween tags

For my tags today, I did the same design but slightly different supplies. I taught a class that featured this design of tag and two other fall cards. They are different because I didn't actually finish either tag while teaching. Just parts of one and parts of the other. Once I returned home I finished things up a bit.

I'll start with the first one which is dry embossed with a Fiskars embossing plate. I then inked the edges with Ranger distress ink using an ink blender tool. I love that look:)

On the left side I fit a piece of black cardstock to the tag and then used the patterned washi tape to finish the edge. The pumpkin border is by K and Co and I cut small pieces of black cardstock to paste behind the border for the eyes and mouths before adhering it to my tag. The center die cut is by Quickutz with Bazzill purple cardstock, the owl sticker is by Bo Bunny, and the bat sticker by Jolee's.

For the second tag, I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and a bit lighter color distress ink for the edges. The black cardstock and different patterned washi tape are on the left side just like above. I did the same technique with the glittery skull border placing cardstock behind to make the eyes and nose appear orange.

For the center I used a Spellbinders scallop die cut and a square punch by Creative Memories for my spider stamp by Inkadinkadoo stamped with black Hero Arts ink. The orange ribbon is a scrap from my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I'll be back again tomorrow with another Halloween creation. I hope you will come back and check it out.

Wedding congrats

Today's card uses a stamp from Deep Red Stamps which you can see their selection at A Cherry on Top or OOzaks. This stamp is part of  a set of three which can be found HERE or HERE. I used the stamp on the bottom of the set for my card's background. I used this same set on THIS card. Stop by and check it out as well.

I heat embossed the randomly stamped image on watercolor paper by Strathmore. The embossing powder is by Stamp N Plus and ink by Versa Mark. Then I rubbed Distress Stain by Ranger Industries {Color Spun Sugar} over the entire piece of paper. I wiped the embossed areas clean and sprayed water on the paper in areas where I felt the color was too dark. After it dried, with the help of a heat gun, I took an ink blender and Spun Sugar distress ink and inked the edges a little bit darker then the rest of the background.

The vellum on the bottom portion of the card is by The Paper Studio and the sticker in between the background and the vellum is by Mrs. Grossman's {Very old sticker that I just came across this past week.}. The vellum was dry embossed with an embossing folder by Darice. The arched shape is a die cut that was cut out by my Cricut using the cartridge Sophisticated. I placed a piece of My Mind's Eye patterned paper in the center of the die cut and then aligned the Jolee's cake sticker on top of that.

The sentiment is a rub-on by Pebbles that is on Neenah Solar White cardstock and is matted on a piece of Recollections black cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by.

Easel card with a twist

Today I have an easel card with a twist to share. As promised I used a Deep Red stamp on my card today. The corner flourish stamp that can be found HERE, has been heat embossed with silver embossing powder by Stampin Up and ink by Versa Mark. I love the way the silver looks on the kraft cardstock. And I also love what a great impression I get when stamping with these Deep Red stamps. Little tid-bit at this stamp company-their stamps are made in the USA. Gotta love that for all you stateside peeps.

I received the card base and kraft cardstock at a class I took and therefore don't have the manufacturer of them. For the rest of my card I used vellum by The Paper Studio, vellum die cut by Spellbinders, cake and flower stickers from Jolee's/EK Success and the metal sentiment is by Scrapbooks Pro.

Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for another project using my new stamps by Deep Red.

Once Upon a Time

There seems to be an awful lot of weddings this year. Here is a wedding card I made for my mom to give to a bride and groom.

The patterned paper is by Hot Off the Press (very old-like 2005)and the cardstock is by Creative Memories (silver) and Recollections (pink and white including the card base). The border punch on the silver paper is by Martha Stewart.

I embellished the cake digi with pink Stickles from Ranger. The label and flower stickers are by Jolee's. I stamped the Fiskars greeting into the label with Hero Arts ink. The ribbon is one from my stash that I believe I was given it from a friend that was moving and was getting rid of her stuff. Bonus for me:) It wouldn't stick to the paper by conventional means so I ended up sewing it to the paper. I think it turned out so pretty.

Thanks for looking.

Some of the smaller stamps were stamped in the center to add depth to the card. The sentiment sticker is by K and Co, the folded flower by Stamping Scraping and the small flower center is by Jolee/EK Success.

To have and to hold

I'm at one wedding and my hubby is at another wedding. I think we are way to old to hae so many weddings this year. Baby showers too. It's nuts that I can't go a year without a shower for either or a wedding. Oh well.

For my card I heat embossed the background stamp with a light gold color embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. The stamp is by Hero Arts and the ink is by Versa Mark. The die cut is cut out using my Cricut and the frame around it is by Jolee's. The stamp is by American Crafts and the ink by Hero Arts. I inked the edges of the die cut with Ranger distressing ink. The black cardstock by Recollections has been die cut on the edge with a Spellbinders die. The brad is by Eyelet Outlet and burlap from my stash.

UR Sweet

Another day for a Valentine's Day card. This one being purple is a little off from the norm but aren't we all. Thanks for looking. I have to teach class today and need to get off this computer.
I will ask this, does anyone know anything about putting a slideshow on your sidebar? I wanted to put the blog candy pictures on a slideshow with a link back to my post where all the other links are and have come up empty handed. If anyone can help me with this leave me a comment or send me an email-see sidebar. Thanks in advance.
