Easel card with a twist

Today I have an easel card with a twist to share. As promised I used a Deep Red stamp on my card today. The corner flourish stamp that can be found HERE, has been heat embossed with silver embossing powder by Stampin Up and ink by Versa Mark. I love the way the silver looks on the kraft cardstock. And I also love what a great impression I get when stamping with these Deep Red stamps. Little tid-bit at this stamp company-their stamps are made in the USA. Gotta love that for all you stateside peeps.

I received the card base and kraft cardstock at a class I took and therefore don't have the manufacturer of them. For the rest of my card I used vellum by The Paper Studio, vellum die cut by Spellbinders, cake and flower stickers from Jolee's/EK Success and the metal sentiment is by Scrapbooks Pro.

Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for another project using my new stamps by Deep Red.

Beautiful wedding card! The cake is a sticker? I was envisioning all the intricate work of placing all the pearls on each layer! A sticker is definitely the way to go! Just lovely. Another great idea from MIM!

Your card is so elegant, Cindy! In answer to your question about the bottle cap on my card, I bought the flat bottle caps and the 1" clear epoxy overlay at Hobby Lobby (they are the Paper Studio brand) and the apple is from the paper stack mentioned in my blog post. Glad you liked it!
