Dreamweaver/Stampendous Blog Hop Day 1

This week we’re going to celebrate with the awesome Woodware Design Team and the Dreamweaver Stencils Dream Team all of the the great Stampendous and Dreamweaver Stencils products that Woodware makes available to the UK market. This is good news for our crafty friends in the UK because we’ll be offering prizes and our UK friends are eligible to win!! We’ll be offering three prizes in the UK and three in the US. My card uses the new stencil called Spiral Dots which you can find at

To make my card I mixed white embossing paste with pink Richeson acrylic paints and applied the paste with a palate knife. The brown cardstock is from Hobby Lobby and the sentiment sticker is by American Crafts. This sencil reminds me of the candy on a paper that we use to love as kids.

Stampendous on the Farm

Today's card uses a Stampendous farms stamp that I stamped in black Hero Arts ink onto Ranger distress watercolor paper. I colored the image in with Peerless watercolors and a water pen by Ranger. The die cut is by Spellbinders, patterned paper by The Paper Studio and Bella Blvd with ribbon by Offray and jute by Jillibean Soup.

Flourish Latte card

My card today features a Florish Latte stamp by Deep Red Stamps.

I heat embossed it with red embossing powder by Ranger and ink by Versa Mark on Strathmore watercolor paper. I wasn't sure where I was going with this card when I embossed the image so I stamped it on watercolor paper just too be sure. This card went together pretty easily once I picked the floral print and polka dots patterned paper by Pebbles. Then I matched the Martha Stewart ribbon with the patterned paper and then the sentiment is vellum by Studio 112. And that's it.

Wonder Woman Card

Today's card is a thank you card that I sent to friend/mentor in the crafting community. She does the nicest things for people and I wanted to send her a special card. She really inspires me to be a better person and be generous with the blessings God has given me. 

The image is from Sassy Studio Designs. I printed her out onto Cryogen cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. Then I die cut her out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside of the die cut with Ranger's distress ink (Squeezed Lemons). I die cut a different shape to put behind the image with Recollections blue cardstock. The patterned paper has all kinds of super power words on it and it's by Die Cuts With a View. The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp on white Recollections cardstock in red Stampin Up ink. The red grid paper behind the sentiment is by GCD Studios and then the darker blue cardstock again. I tied some Lawn Fawn twine around the front card panel before adhering it to the card base and then embellished with some Lawn Fawn star dies.

Holy Bible Card

This is the perfect card for today as it is our last doctrine class for church. I stamped the holy bible stamp by Inkadinkado with charcoal Hero Arts ink and colored it in with distress inks and a water pen both by Ranger. I die cut the image out with a Deisgn Objectives die cut and inked the inside with pink distress ink. The pink patterned paper is by Craft Smith. the green by Recollections and the stripe in the center is by American Crafts. The border die cut is by Spellbinders, the flower is by Stampin Up and the brad by We R Memory Keepers.

St. Patrick's Day Card

Happy St. Patrick's Day. I'm not Irish but I do love green. My card today is a little bit taller than usual. It is 4x5 15/16 because we (My husband and I and my brother in law) had extra envelopes from our Christmas photo cards this year and I couldn't throw them away. The card base is the green cardstock and the patterned paper is old be We R Memory Keepers. Then sentiment stamp is old and I stamped it with mowed lawn distress ink. The image is by Sassy Studio Designs. I printed her out onto Cryogen cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I die cut the image out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink. The shamrock behind the image was in my basement and so I decided to add it for good luck.

My card today is a birthday card for a guy. I stamped and heat embossed the Tim Holtz compass stamp using ink by Versa Mark and gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus on watercolor cardstock by Ranger. I colored the image in with distress markers, water and a water pen all by Ranger. Then I die cut the image out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with Antique Linen distress ink. I cut a little bit larger square out with a green patterned paper and rounded the edges with a Creative Memories corner rounder. The image is adhered to the card front with foam adhesive.

Pennants hanging down on the left are made out of washi tape by We R Memory Keepers, kraft cardstock by Oriental Trading Co that has been crimped with a Fiskars tool, and the last one is brown cardstock from Hobby Lobby. The sentiment is by Gina Marie stamped in brown ink by Stampin Up. Patterned paper used on my card are by Provo Craft

Whale Thanks a Ton

Today's card features a Christmas present from my niece. She bought me the Clearly Besotted stamp set Whale Done that includes the whale, spout, and sentiment. I cut the image die cut out with my Cricut and the When I Was A Kid cartridge. I used Hero Arts Shadow ink Charcoal and Stampin Up Daffodil Delight ink for the whale. Then the sentiment is stamped with the same HA  ink onto a Spellbinders die that I cut the edges off to do something different with the same old dies. The cardstock is by Recollections and Die Cuts With a View. For the rest of my card I used pearls by Want 2 Scrap, embossing folder by Provo Craft, and patterned paper by Basic Grey.

Mason Jar Friends

I'm here today with a friend card. I die cut the yellow and white die cuts in the center out from my Cricut. I stamped the Inkadinkado mason jar with black Hero Arts ink on the white and then again on some red cardstock. I cut out the red to form a label on the jar and stamped the word "friends" inside of it. In retrospect I should have stamped the sentiment in black so you could see it better but I stamped it in red. Then I stamped a bunch of the same heart inside the jar with red and yellow ink by Stampin Up using 1st through 3rd generation stamping. The card base is by Recollections and I adhered a piece of Pebbles red patterned paper to the top. The bottom is Basic Grey patterned paper that I fussy cut the design out on the bottom (I use the other piece of the cut out paper in tomorrow's card). I covered the seam of the two papers with Karen Foster twill and embellished with a few pearls.

Gold 50th Anniversary card with Mosaic Stamp

Today's card is for a 50th anniversary. I made about four of these but all a little different since I don't have that many gold papers/supplies. The gold border paper is by Creative Memories which is old and I'm running out of it. The other gold paper is a scrap from a store bought card.

The two stamps I used in my card are both by Deep Red stamps.

Behind the 50 is the Floral Mosaic stamp and the second stamp is the Vintage border stamp at the bottom. I stamped both with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. I fussy cut the border stamp and covered part of it with the gold recycled piece of paper. 

I cut the numbers out using my Cricut and the border is a die by Spellbinders.

Dreamweaver's Marching into Spring

Ready for fresh air, sunshine, new leaves, and flowers blooming? Well, the Dream Team is right there with you! Our challenge for the month of March is...coincidentally...Marching into Spring. Per usual, we'd love to have you play along with us, and link your own creations to the Inlinkz tool on the Dream It Up! blog, or at the bottom of this post. Play as many times as you'd like. Those of you who work Dreamweaver and/or Stampendous products into your projects receive bonus points, but everyone has an opportunity to be the winner who receives the stencil of their choice.

Here's my hint of Spring:

I inked the Birdbath Stencil with distress ink by Ranger and was able to get into some of the smaller spots by using nibs that they have. Then I used some Bazzill patterned paper, a sentiment sticker by Pebbles and some May Arts ribbon to finish it off. It turned out quite pretty.

Today my card is an anniversary card that I made for the hubby's cousin and his wife. The background patterned paper is by Making Memories and the grey is by TPC Studio. The jar and bug stamps are unknown because I stamped them at a crop using someone's stamps and I wasn't blogging back then. The sentiment stamp is by Impressive Stamps with black Hero Arts ink.

My card features a digital stamp by

I printed the car out on Cryogen cardstock and colored it in with Copic Markers. Then I die cut it out with a Spellbinders die cut. I masked the car off and while the image was still in the die I inked the inside with Ranger's distress ink. The cardstock for my card is by Recollections, patterned paper by Creative Imaginations, sentiment stamp by Hero Arts and ink by Stampin Up. The gear brad under the word "day" is by Eyelet Outlet.

Indiana Inking 

I made another dinosaur card using the Stampendous Dinosaur stamp Set, I did the same thing as my card on Friday with the triceratops. I stamped the dino onto Ranger watercolor paper with Hero Arts black ink and colored it in with Peerless watercolors and a paint brush. I pulled out some of Ranger's crackle paint (Rock Candy) and covered the Spellbinders die cut with it. I fussy cut the stamp out and adhered him to the die cut. The polka dot patterned paper is by Making Memories, twine by Tim Holtz, and stamped the sentiment onto Creative Memories sand colored cardstock with Stampin Up brown ink.

Stampin Up card

I made this card with patterned paper and stamps by Stampin Up. The leaf is heat embossed with Ranger platinum embossing powder. The flower is stamped with Hero Arts ink and then I colored it in with Picket Fence Distress paint with Stampin Up ink Daffodil Delight. It softened the yellow color a bit. The sentiment sticker is by Pebbles. I saw this design for my card on Splitcoast Stampers and of course I can't find it.

Elsa My Friend

For today's card I used a bunch of die cuts. The Elsa image has been die cut with a Sizzix oval die. The blue oval around the image has deckled edge and was cut out of my Cricut. The label die with the sentiment is cut from my Cricut as well as the two larger  snowflakes (cartridge Creative Memories Holiday tags and more or something like that). Then the scallop border is by Spellbinders. 

For the rest of the card I used ribbon by Offray, Copic cardstock is called Cryogen, and I inked the inside of the image with distress ink. The image is by Sassy Studio Designs which I colored with Copic markers and then covered her cape with Stardust powdered chalk mixed with paint (both by Stamp N Plus). I don't know the manufacturer for the patterned paper or the other snowflake punch. The sentiment stamp is by Stampendous in black ink by Hero Arts.
