Welcome to this weeks Manly Monday post. I have to admit I did these at 8pm last night and then had to work this morning. When I got home a monsoon hit our little area (not really) and now just like Michigan weather, it is sunny outside. Hopefully that will be reflected on photos.
My mom and I got all buying crazy last week and bought two Stacks by DCWV and I am using the gears paper in both of today's cards. This first card I heat embossed the tickets on the side and then resisted the paper with Old Paper Distressing Ink. The gears I cut using my Cricut and the Indie Art cartridge. Blue paper is by BG and lined paper by DV.
I'm entering this card into the challenge at Stampin Sisters in Christ for the word Blessings in your sentiment and Here come the Boys (SU#11)- Bingo Top row (Twine, Blue paper and Die cuts)
This next card my husband really liked. I used the diamond plate folder by Cuttlebug on Basic Grey paper. On the gear paper (DCWV) I placed brads in the centers of the gears. The silver gear I cut using Cricut and Indie Art again. This time I took the die cut and placed it on top of the Versa Mark ink pad. I pushed the die into the ink so that it was completely covered. Then I poured embossed powder over it and started to heat emboss. In order to cover the enter die cut, while it was still hot from embossing I would pour more embossing powder onto it. After about 6 times the die cut was complete. For the sentiment I stamped it on the die cut and then inked the edges with my blending tool. After it was dry I stamped and heat embossed the clock with clear embossing powder.
I'm entering this card into the challenge at Simon Says Stamp and show(MO)-Men only
Thanka for stopping by and taking a look:)

Both of these cards are great, but I have to say I like the first one best! These are very creative masculine cards, which I find a bit challenging to do! Good job! =)
