November calendar layout remembering Jodi

Who was Jodi? My Mom called Jodi my brother’s “lady friend”. Jodi passed away on January 10th, 2018 from an accidental overdose. These pictures are representations of her, her dog Chloe, who passed away in 2022 and the sweatshirt with her son’s business on the back. The sweatshirt finally fits my niece
The bone background paper and the strip of patterned paper are and on the right side are unknown. (The Paper Studio-maybe) The yellow borders were from a paper pad by Die Cuts with a View. The butterfly sentiment and wings were made on my Cricut. The little butterfly to the lower right is a Memory Box die cut. RIP stickers and Chloe was stamped. It seemed appropriate to post this on my birthday, I miss her so much. Thanks for looking.

Sneaker Calendar Layout

I made this layout for a calendar and now that I look at it, I think it needed a title. But honestly, I don't think my brother would really notice or care. This is my nephew and niece with my sister's dog.

The background paper is by Hot off the Press and the purple paper at the bottom is by Sunborn. I made the swirl at the bottom with an old Creative Memories trimmer thingy. The patterned paper at the way the bottom is by Colorbok and it has been punched with a Stampin Up border punch.

In black by the picture is a Tim Holtz/Sizzix die that I cut in half to place on each side of the photo. The die outside that is a Cricut cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I know the shadow paper is by Die Cuts with a View. I would guess that all the cardstock on this layout would be by Recollections.

The cute sneaker ribbon is by Offray. I have to tell you when my mom gave the ribbon to me I was like-ummmmm....what the heck am I going to use this on? Well... crazy enough when I saw this picture the first thing that stood out to me was their shoes. So.....Ta-da! Enter the crazy ribbon from my crazy mother. Crazy runs in our family! Lol

The picture looks like poo but what can I do when the sun won't shine. We have been living under a gray cloud for over a week. Hate it! Why do I live here, I ask myself constantly? Oh yeah, most of my family (even though some I could stand to move away from) and friends are here.
I tried doing lighting in my office and got yelled at for removing lamps from the living room. So I asked for an over my head lighting, just something that would clip onto my bookshelf and I got the look followed by "I put all new lighting in that room. What do you mean there's a shadow?" Lol-whatever. Anyone got any suggestions without spending a ton?
