Reflections tag

Something different for you today-a tag. My tag is by Ranger Industries and I used distress ink by Ranger as well. I also used a Deep Red Stamp, which are the buttons at the bottom.

But lets start at the top of the tag and work our way down. I dry embossed the top half with a Quickutz embossing folder and then rubbed my distress ink pad over it. The butterfly is a wood veneer that I painted with Crackle paint by Ranger. The flourish is by Tim Holtz and is painted with a green Crackle paint. I covered the two halves of the tag with Washi tape by Darice.

Next we have the die cut which is by Studio 112 with two leaves which is a Sizzix die cut and I used patterned paper by Making Memories. The sentiment is a sticker by Sticko/EK Success and I didn't tell you earlier that the flourish is made from grungeboard. I inked the bottom half  edges with distress ink and an ink blender to give it a vintage look. Last thing I did was stamp the button stamps with Distress ink Forest Moss. The button stamp is from the Sewing Kit Rubber stamp set by Deep Red Stamps

Thanks so much for stopping by
