Manly Monday Frog and Lizard card

I stamped and then heat embossed a variety of different stamps leaf stamps onto green cardstock. I cut it out with a Creative Memories wavy square shape. I inked the edges and adhered it to the card base (4x5.5)

The frog and lizard were both heat embossed with platinum embossing powder by Ranger. I colored them with Copic markers, fussy cut and then adhered them to the background. The lizard is on foam tape. The sentiment is Lawn Fawn. Thanks for looking. HAGD! 

Manly Monday Hamburger birthday card

The cheeseburger is a die cut from a friend. The patterned paper is by Studio G. The red opulent paper is by Sizzix. The large circle was cut out with my Cricut. The Happy stamp is from Lawn Fawn. The word Birthday is a stamp from Stampibilities.

A Craft Roulette original, the “Zoyfold” card

As the title says, Craft Roulette’s Mary Gunn and Irene Smith came up with this name to describe a card design that is part Z-Fold card and part Joy fold card.

In the image above, the embossing folder is by Darice and I inked it with distress ink. The vellum is from the Paper Studio and I cut it into a circle using my Creative Memories cutting system. The gems are by Couture Creations. 

The brick embossing folder by Darice. I inked it with all different inks before spraying it with water. This is the inside flap other side of the green cardstock.

The vintage looking door stamp is from Deep Red Stamps. I used watercolors to color it then die cut it out with a Sizzix oval scalloped die. The oval mat behind the image is also by Sizzix. 

This card was made for Craft Roulette episode #249. The parameters were: project-“Zoyfold” card. Colors-elegant. Elements-Front Door. Random-3 circles.

Just a Note glow in the dark card

Today’s card is SOooo fun. I started by applying glow paste by Tim Holtz onto a stencil by Couture Creations. The brads are by Making Memories. The label is by Recollections. The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug. 

Check out the paper that the sentiment was cut out of. It looks a little different. I went to the recycle bin and pulled out a piece of white cardstock. It’d been die cut, but didn’t cut all the way through. I die cut the sentiment out of a piece of paper. Hence, why there are cut lines on the sentiment die cut.

 Lastly, I tried to ink the edges of the paper, but the paste is gritty and wouldn’t take ink. I must be doing something wrong.anyway. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Floral Friday Thinking of You card

I die cut the flower which is connected to the white square. The sentiment is the Draw and Cut from Cricut. The die cut behind the the flower is by…BUT the patterned paper is by Anna Griffin and the gold background paper is from Creative Memories. All of this is on a black cardstock base.

Wooden Butterfly Crackle Paint card

You might be thinking, what am I looking at? I”m going to try and tell you. 

On the white cardstock is a brown background die by Simply Defined called “Whimsical Nature, Thick Jungle Background”. I like the background because you could cut pieces out and create a different background theme.

The butterflies are made of wood (Maya Road) and I painted them with very old Fire Brick Red distress crackle paint. The results weren’t great. I threw it away after that. Ranger’s Crackle paint is no longer sold in colors.

Floral Friday heart wreath card

I inked the lower part of the card with distress ink. I sprayed the card and red cardstock with Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels. I covered the seam between the red cardstock and the inked card base with gold paper is by Sizzix. 

I don’t know where the heart image is from and I’m not certain about the butterfly stamps either.  Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Making my own patterned paper Anniversary Cards

I created the background using purple card stock using a heart stamp by Hero Arts. The black border is tape from Dollar Tree. 

Card #2-I made the pattern on the lower portion of the card using a border stamp in the mosaic stamp set by Stampin Up. The top portion of the card is a dry embossing folder by Cuttlebug. A piece of black ribbon in the middle separates the top and bottom. The sentiment is unknown. Thank you for looking.  HAGD!
