January Calendar layout Run Brittany Run

This young lady is amazing. Doctor with Ph.D. She has 4 more years until she will be a pediatric ICU doctor. Anyway. The patterned paper is by Best Creations and the collage was made using Photoscape. This is from the 2019 home calendar.

Christmas tree with oval wood Frame card

I used a Tim Holtz stencil with distress ink and oxide for the sunshine rays.

The tree is an upside-down pennant stamp that was heat embossed in that funky color. I added the yellow with Copic marker. Other things I added were a stamped tree trunk, a star sequin, and iridescent small "sequins" for lack of a better word. I've had them forever.

The frame is an oldie that I found from my stash. I painted it and distressed it with an emery board. I was just playing around with it as a prototype for another project but don't ask me what that was.

Peaceful Church Scene card

The Church is a Cricut cut. The scalloped rectangle is by Sizzix and inked with distress ink. The sentiments are the following in order from top to bottom: Close to my Heart, Melissa Frances card with a Stampendous sentiment stamp, Bo Bunny rub-on sentiments for the last two. Check out the annotation on the one picture.

Gold 50th Anniversary Card

Sketch Saturday

The patterned paper is by Anna Griffin. The gold paper is by CM and it's dry embossed with a Crafter's Companion. The 50 is a SU stamp and it was heat embossed with gold glitter embossing powder by Stampendous. I rarely use it because it never seems to give the results I'm looking for. This one out of 5 made the cut making it to the card. The gold twine is from my stash. The black cardstock is popped up on foam adhesive.

Manly Monday Gingerbread Man Card

Gingerbread man stamp and powdered chalk are by SNP (no longer in business). Perfect pearls for the icing. Spellbinders die-cuts. PP by PinK is by Bazzill and the blue PP is by MME. The word Sweet came from a patterned paper by Recollections and cut out with a Spellbinders die.

Aqua colored Christmas colored cards

Floral Friday Holly Trio of Cards Colored in with 3 different green combos

Hmmm...I'm not sure that I have a favorite. Do you? 
They were all colored with Copic markers.
The first card uses very primary colors. (PP by Sunborn)
In the second card, the green is muted, as if it were aged. (PP by K and Co and the rub-on border is by American Crafts))
The third card is bright with a yellow hue to it. (PP from stash. Green from Michael's. Rick Rack from my stash)

December Calendar Layout with Us by the parent's tree

I post a calendar layout every Wednesday. They are from all different years but I post the same month that we are in. Come back to see what January looks like

This layout is from my brother's 2019 calendar.
The background paper is by Scenic Route. The cardstock in the center has been inked. The center embellishment/border is something I cut out of a patterned paper by MME. Flowers are by Prima and Oriental Trading Co. The brad is by Making Memories. I can't think of who made the little title but as I go through my things I will find out and add it to the post. Thanks for looking.

Upcycled Photo Frame Christmas cards

I decided to upcycle the photo frames that people send out with their kid's pictures. The frames aren't used anymore because people can go online and plug their pictures into the different layouts and TADA!! their photo Christmas card is finished. They even get envelopes.
Some online services; Shutterfly, Walmart, Walgreens-I've heard that their quality is better than you would expect. 

The trio of trees stamp is by Denami Designs Circa 1998. It was from the lady that went into the nursing home and I received all of her Christmas stamps and stuff. Well, she heat-embossed the tree in gold on vellum and added some glitter to it. I colored the green on the back of the vellum with green Copic Markers. To give the trees a little color.
