Stamp N Plus Fishy Birthday

I made a fishy card today for an upcoming birthday. I love this stamp and all the different ways you can color it in. For this card I used a mixture of powdered chalk and paint in 4 or more different colors. I love that you can add a little but of one color to another to create unique colors to play with. This card also shows you how you can blend colors to create shading and dimension just like if you were to color with your Copics or other markers. There are so many wonderful things you can do with powdered chalk you should give it a try and do something new.

For the rest of my card, the background paper is Tim Holtz by Corinations, the tag was cut out using the Cricut and then edges inked with Ranger Distress ink. The metal sentiment is by Scrapbook Pro-found at a dollar store and the eyelet is by Making Memories. I added Stickles to the fish and also black enamel to make the eye stand out, both products by Ranger Industries.

The white background paper was handmade using a net/mesh bag from the produce department. I placed some repositionable adhesive on it and then sprayed with Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels. I was watching/listening to Finding Nemo and found inspiration in a few scenes where a net is used. Hope you like my card.

Thanks for looking.
