Manly Monday arrow birthday card

My card is sort of manly. It’s enough for me to send it to a dude.
The dry embossed arrows are by Cuttlebug and I colored the raised design in with chalk. The bottom paper is by Basic Grey. I think the sentiment stamp is by Stampin Up. Ribbon by Offray.

Celebrate card

I dry embossed a skinny Cuttlebug folder with the flower and then applied distress ink to it to give it some color. The polka dots paper is by Sassafras and pink cardstock by Sunborn. Sentiment is a die cut by Die-Versions.

Dance Card

For my card today I stamped Autumn Leaves flourishes with blue pigment ink (Colorbox) and accented with blue rhinestones. The sentiment is a glitter sticker on top of two rectangle die cuts.

Simple but I’m liking the simple look over the way too much stuff on the card look.

Yellow Doily Card

This one is so simple but I like that about it. The yellow cardstock is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. Doily by Doodlebug and sentiment sticker by Pebbles. Stamp in the center is by Stampin Up.

Orange Hello Sunshine Card

I made this ATC for a trade but didn’t end up duplicating it or trading it. The Recollections orange cardstock was stamped with a Stampin Up Wheel using white pigment ink. Once it was dried, I stamped it with the Hero Arts leaves stamp with green dye ink. The white ink shows through the green, which I think it’s called a shadow technique.
 The bottom stripe of oranges is patterned paper by My Little Shoebox Circa 2010,
The "Hello Sunshine" sentiment is an epoxy sticker from Michael’s.

Manly Monday-Using scraps

I have an over abundance of 2” paper from cutting the 6” patterned paper pads to fit my 4x5.5 cards. I decided to use them side by side but the paper didn’t cover the seam in the middle since I made a 4.5x5.5 card base. I stamped a TPC border stamp with blue Hero Arts ink onto grey cardstock. The center seemed plain so I inked a piece of paper with Ranger distress ink Iced Spruce. The sentiment stamp is by Stampibilities.
The pictures look blurry to me. I hope they don’t look that way to you. I got new glasses but can’t find them. Ugh!

Manly Monday Celebrate with Flames

My cards today came to from my then SIL. You see, I had made them for nephews birthday and they never sent them out. I was hurt and pissed because of the time and resources that went into these cards. She did give them back when she could have thrown them away.
The first card is the original invite, I cut a bunch of them up and created some new cards.

Happy holidays tag card

The tag and background paper are upcycled and I also used a Die Cuts With a View sentiment, K and Co border and a Cricut tree cut out of Recollections paper. The tree needed something more so I added Stickles.

Framed butterfly ATC's

I used up some frames by Making Memories. The butterflies by Recollections I stamped with Colorbox ink and die cut out with matching dies. The background-Alcohol inks and stamped with a Tim Holtz stamp.

The second one, border punch by Fiskars and the background is patterned paper.

Peace from our home to yours

I had a bunch of tags I wanted to use on cards. Here’s a link to the TAG.
 For this tag I paired it up with a vintage cardboard picture frame. Check out how the edges of the tag are tucked inside those slots where the edges of a vintage photo would be.

 For the sentiment I took a leftover piece of watercolor paper and stamped it with black ink and a Hero Arts sentiment. I put foam tape behind that sentiment but only in the center.

Butterfly ATC

Deep Red stamps Drama card

One of the kids graduating was into drama and theater and so I made this card. Different from my normal graduation cards but kind of fun to be able to do something like this because it was made for them.

The movie clapper stamp is by Deep Red stamps and I did 1st and 2nd generation stamping with black ink. I found the drama faces on a Cricut cartridge. I put some graduation hats on top of their heads.

Mini Special Day Card

I recycled this card front by cutting it off one card base and taping it to another. The patterned paper on the inside is by Making Memories. I cut the edges with decorative scalloped scissors. Thanks for looking.

Distress Stain Card For you

Distress stain card:
Top folding card base by Recollections size 4 1/4 by 5 1/2
On white cardstock, stamp outer circle with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with clear powder.
Heavily ink with distress stain by Ranger
Let dry completely and circle cut with Creative Memories cutting systems
Die cut scalloped circle by Spellbinder out of Paper Studio patterned paper.
Stamp daisy in center of die cuts with black ink. Adhere to card base. Die cut a rectangle out of brown cardstock and a label die of white. Stamp sentiment with brown ink.

Sorry for my absence, The last 10 months has been insane. I’m feeling a lot of tensions but I’m trying to learn how to balance them all.

I had made the A and she liked it so much we finished her names.
