Older Die Cuts Birthday Cards

I wanted to use these older die cuts that I found and can’t remember the name of to prove to myself that I can make older products look good. Thanks for looking.
The patterned paper is by The Paper Studio and sentiment is by Lawn Fawn.

The sentiment is a recycled card and the rest of the card was created with scraps.

Sassafrass patterned paper; Dry embossing folder is unknown; Stamp by Clearly Besotted; sticker by Little Yellow Bicycle.

I set an eyelet at the end of the balloon and added embroidery floss to look like a string. The celebrate and you are die cuts.

Here they are all together.
 Thanks for looking.

Gina Marie Little Star Card

Start with a 4 x 5 ½ off-white card base (Recollections) and adhere a piece of marbled cardstock on top. Trim a piece of patterned paper and adhere it to the left edge of the card. Die cut a Stitched circle die by Gina Marie Designs out of off white shimmer cardstock by Recollections. Die cut the onesie also by Gina Marie Designs out of Sassafras patterned paper. Adhere the two die cuts together and to the front of the card. Die cut 2 small stars and one arrowhead (Lawn Fawn) out of green and blue cardstock. Adhere a K and Co sentiment sticker to a scrap of cardstock and then to the card front on an angle matching the pattern in the background paper. Trim off the edge and adhere small dies as shown.

Bella Bride Card

"Happy Friday!
The image below called Bella Bride Sassy will be free for 24 hours on our Sassy Studio Designs Facebook group!! That means that after 24 hours the image will be removed from the group and you will no longer be able to receive it for free. If you miss it - you can still purchase the image in the Sassy store at regular price. If is not in the store, which I don't think this one is in the store, than you will have to wait until it pops up again.

This beautiful bride by Sassy Studio Design was printed onto X-Press It cardstock and colored in with Copic Markers. I did add Stickles to the flowers on her dress and her bouquet. The sentiment sticker is by Sticko, the glitter hearts by Making Memories and the ribbon is by Hobby Lobby. The heart patterned paper is by Sassafrass and the top patterned paper is by Basic Grey.

Butterfly Effie Sassy

Sassy Studio Designs sponsorship Crafting from the Heart

I got to play with the Butterfly Effie Portrait and I think she could be easily used for a spring or summer card. I decided to stay with the fall-ish colors because that is what I am into making these days. I printed the digi onto Cryogen cardstock and colored her in with Copic Markers. Then I die cut her out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside of the die cut with Distress Ink by Ranger. The background paper is by The Paper Studio and the polka dot paper is by Sassafras. There is yellow rick-rack on both sides of the polka dot paper. The sentiment is a die cut from my Cricut and the Straight from the Nest cartridge. There were a couple of different sentiments that would work great with this image.

Thanks for looking.

Sassy Studio Designs Tarzan's Jane card

Thursday means a new challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. This week's challenge is

Watch it fall - Use leaves on your project

I used Jane Honey {Near the bottom of this link}because I thought of her in the Tarzan movie and how they are surrounded by the jungle/leaves. I printed her onto Cryogen cardstock and colored her in with Copic Markers. Then I die cut her out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside of the die cut with Distress Ink by Ranger. The background paper is by Best Creations and the polka dot paper is by Sassafras. The leaves in the image's background are stamps by Hero Arts stamped in Versa Color ink and fussy cut out. The sentiment is by Stampin Up with ink by Hero Arts and die cut out with a Spellbinders die. Lastly, the ribbon is by Pebbles.

This is a 5x7 card which is very rare for me and I can explain why; I sell my cards at a store and at my mom's craft show booth and both venues can only accommodate the smaller sized cards 4x5 1/2. So I never make the bigger cards because they just sit at my house collecting dust.

Anyway, Thanks for looking.

Deep Red Coffee Stamp

I have a new card to share featuring a sentiment stamp by Deep Red Stamps. I don't drink coffee but I think the saying is fun.

You can find the coffee sentiment stamp at A Cherry on Top. I heat embossed in gold using ink by Versa Mark and embossing powder by Stamp N Plus onto white Recollections cardstock. I die cut the coffee cup using Bazzill cardstock with my Cricut and embellished it with rhinestones by Imaginisce. It is adhered it to a Spellbinders die cut with DCWV cardstock. The bright patterned paper is by Sassafras  which is matted onto bright pink Recollections cardstock. The organdy ribbon is orange with white polka dots that I received many years ago in RAK from a fellow card maker. As for the bling on the ribbon, the pink is by Recollections and the orange is by Forever in Time.

Thanks for looking.

Challenges:
http://asyoulikeitchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ Texture {Heat embossing because it gives that perfect little touch to a card that makes it seem like it was hard to make when really heat embossing is so easy}
http://delightfulsketches.blogspot.com/ Crazy color {I don't usually use bright colors like this but the 6x6 pad of paper just screamed at me to use it}

Chevron is all the rage right now so I thought I would use my powdered chalk with paint and make the pattern using my Spellbinders edgebilities. Flower is by Sassafras and little drops are by Cloud nine. The powdered chalk and the stamp is by Stamp N Plus Scrap N. I got the idea for the design of the card from Jennifer McGuire HERE.
