SNP Best Wishes

My card today is for the blog Stamp N Plus. For my card today I used a flower basket stamp by Stamp N Plus which you can find HERE. I colored it in with distress markers using a water pen to blend the color on watercolor paper by Strathmore. I used the back of the paper so there wasn't as much texture making it easier for my ink to create a stamped impression. Sometimes the textured side makes for an incomplete stamped image but I love the way it blends the water and distress marker colors. The backside works well to blend the colors and water, just in a different fashion then the textured side-but I sort of liked it. The die cut the image is on is by Spellbinders.

The wood grain patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye, the peach striped paper is by Prima with a Martha Stewart border punch and the green cardstock is by Bazzill. The sentiment sticker is by SRM Stickers and the twin and eyelet are from my stash.

The butterfly is a wood veneer by Recollectins. It adds dimension to the card but is still flat enough to fit through the mail at normal postage cost. I painted the wood with Crackle paint by Ranger. The crackle effect gives a fun texture to an otherwise plain embellishment. To adher the butterfly to the card I used Tombow liquid glue.

Thanks so much for looking.
