Easel card with a twist

Today I have an easel card with a twist to share. As promised I used a Deep Red stamp on my card today. The corner flourish stamp that can be found HERE, has been heat embossed with silver embossing powder by Stampin Up and ink by Versa Mark. I love the way the silver looks on the kraft cardstock. And I also love what a great impression I get when stamping with these Deep Red stamps. Little tid-bit at this stamp company-their stamps are made in the USA. Gotta love that for all you stateside peeps.

I received the card base and kraft cardstock at a class I took and therefore don't have the manufacturer of them. For the rest of my card I used vellum by The Paper Studio, vellum die cut by Spellbinders, cake and flower stickers from Jolee's/EK Success and the metal sentiment is by Scrapbooks Pro.

Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for another project using my new stamps by Deep Red.

Back to School

With all the talk of going back to school I was inspired to create this card. The background stamp is by Deep Red. You can find this stamp HERE. I stamped the background stamp onto Crate Paper patterned paper and mounted that piece onto a brown cardstock.

I then embellished my card with a die cut and twine by Jillibean Soup. I tied a Karen Foster pencil charm onto the twine. On the die cut is a light bulb brad from Eyelet Outlet. The sentiment is a vellum sticker from OScrap which I've placed on piece of lined patterned paper by Recollections. The diamond patterned is by Imagination Project Gin X Artistix Cotton Art tape. That's a very old one from my stash. I'm still trying to use up some old stuff before I go out and buy the new products that are coming out or out from CHA.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for another creation using Deep Red stamps.
