An Apple suck up to a Teacher Card with Chalk

I made this card for the Chalk Ah Lot challenge: Food with chalk. I used powdered chalk mixed with paint as the ink for my stamp. After it dried I cut it out using a Spellbinders die and then blended in some Distress Inks by Ranger using the ink blending tool. The cardstock I used for the image is Neenah Solar White. You could use any cardstock for this stamping technique just as long as it has good thickness to it. Check out the Chalk Ah Lot blog for a picture tutorial on how I made my image.

The green die cut is also by Spellbinders however its an oldie that doesn't get much recognition. I cut it out of Sunborn cardstock and then spritzed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The lined patterned paper is by Recollections, twine and ribbon by Jillibean Soup, crayon sticker by Creative Imaginations and the button is from my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you will dig out your chalks and give this fun little challenge a try.
