Fall Card FOR Chalk Ah Lot #48

Chalk Ah Lot #48 Anything goes with chalk continues on and I have a new card to share with you.

I made this card using the powder chalk and paint mixture by Stamp N Plus from THIS cards background. I hate to be wasteful when it comes to crafty stuff. I painted the "middle" layer of white cardstock to appear peachy/orange-ish in color.

There are many layers to this card starting with the base by Neenah and then the rust orange cardstock by Bazzill. The next layer is the chalked white cardstock and then the patterned paper on top of that which is the negative of the next larger die cut. Inside the negative is a smaller die cut with the Stamp N Plus stamped with Stampin Up's Caramel ink. I made the edges look darker on the outside by inking the edges with Ranger Distress ink and spraying the die cut with water mixed with gold Perfect Pearls also by Ranger Industries.

I think the patterned paper is by DCWV but cold be wrong but I do know that the die cuts (acorn and leaf) along with the sentiment sticker are all by K and Co. I popped the acorn up with foam adhesive. I think in retrospect that it would have been cool to pop the patterned paper piece up on foam adhesive but maybe next time.

Thanks for looking.
