Deep Red Stamps and Xyron Blog Hop Day 1

I'm really excited to tell you that I am a part of the Deep Red Stamps and Xyron Blog Hop this week.

I will have new projects for you everyday this week using Deep Red Stamps with Xyron products. I do have to stay true to my Manly Monday post by posting a manly card. You'll see with Deep Red Stamps a masculine card is no problem. Be sure to check out their great selection.

Next thing to do is to comment on all my blog hop posts this week for a chance at a $25 coupon to Deep Red Stamps. There also other prizes available but right here on my blog I get to give one lucky participant that comments that $25 coupon to the Deep Red Stamps store. I am super excited for you guys. Good luck.

So onto my card. I used two Deep Red Stamps to make my card:

and

I stamped the Three Rings background stamp with Making Memories off white paint and stamped it onto Coredinations brown cardstock After it dried, I cut down the sides and adhered it to a Making Memories dark green cardstock.

The tag is by Ranger. I inked the Winter Pines stamp with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with Stampendous forest green embossing powder. For the moon, I punched a small circle punch (Marvy) out of a Post-It note near the stickier end to make a mask. Then I inked the tag with multiple blue, green and brown distress inks (Ranger) and sprayed the tag with water using a mini mister.

I adhered the tag to the front card panel and set a brad (Bazzill) at the top. The sentiment is a die cut (Spellbinders) out of some recycled packaging. I used the Xyron Create a Sticker (Model 150) to adhere the tiny die cut to the front. The sticker maker is the best way to adhere such intricate die cuts. To finish up I set a small cream colored brad (Close to My Heart) for the dot of the "J".

There's my card for today. I will have more cards along with a set of ATC's to share with you the rest of the week. Stop back by and comment for your chance to win a $25 coupon to Deep Red Stamps.
