Stamp N Plus Best Wishes

I made this card for the Stamp N Plus blog. The flowers in a barrel and sentiment stamp are by Stamp N Plus. You can find the flowers HERE and the sentiment HERE.

I colored in the image with distress markers by Ranger on watercolor paper by Strathmore. I blended colors together by scribbling the ink on a craft sheet and then taking the color up with a water pen to apply it to the paper. The flowers on my card are a combination of the colors Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold and Spiced Marmalade. The image is stamped in Hero Arts black ink and the sentiment in Stampin Up brown ink. The Hero Arts ink is perfect for these water based markers.

The patterned paper is by Prima and cardstock by Recollections and Bazzill. I dry embossed the background paper (EF by Darice) and then used the ink from a distress marker (Dried Marigold) to ink the edges with a blending tool.

The image is on a die cut by Spellbinders and the larger scallop oval is from Cricut's Storybook cartridge. I dry embossed the later die cut with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
